Dogecoin Founder Sells ‘Dreaming Doge’ NFTs – Dogecoin – US Dollar ($DOGE)
Billy Marcus — the co-founder of the first memecoin Dogecoin (CRYPTO:DOGE), often referred to by his alias Shibetoshi Nakamoto, has begun selling a collection of doge-themed non-fungible tokens.

Doge-related NFTs have already appreciated considerably, with one depicting the original doge meme from 2013, featuring the dog Shiba Inu that started it all, reaching a value of $336 million in September 2021.
What happened: OpenSea – the world’s first NFT marketplace – presents the collection of pixel art images with doge, presented by NFTs in the Dreaming Doge NFT collection, from a price of 0.6 Ethereum (CRYPTO:ETH) (just under $1,800 at press time). There are eight images featured in the collection, and the most expensive is currently being sold for 1.7 ETH – just under $5,100.

The news follows reports from mid-December 2021 that a developer successfully minted an NFT on the Dogecoin blockchain – unlocking new potential for the blockchain.
